Sign in & your workspace

Redline uses email-based authentication. There are no passwords to manage — you sign in with a magic link sent to your email address.

1
Go to app.redline.app
Navigate to the Redline application in your browser. You will see the sign-in screen with the Redline mark.
2
Enter your email address
Type the email address your administrator used to invite you. This must match exactly — Redline is case-insensitive on email.
3
Check your inbox
A sign-in link arrives within 60 seconds. Click it to authenticate. The link is valid for 10 minutes and is single-use.
4
You’re in
You land on the Redline dashboard, scoped to your company’s workspace. Only your company’s data is visible — no other tenant’s data can be seen or accessed.

Every user in Redline has one of three roles. Your role is set by your administrator and determines what you can see and do.

RoleWhat they can do
CoordinatorFull access — create ECRs, create ECOs, run phase-in calculations, generate action lists, release ECOs, access Settings.
ViewerRead-only access to all ECOs and action lists. Cannot edit, release, or access Settings.
Department UserCan update the status of action items assigned to their department only. Cannot create or edit ECOs.

When you sign in, you land on the dashboard for your company’s workspace. Every piece of data in Redline — ECOs, ECRs, ERP data, action lists, audit logs — is scoped to your tenant. No other company using Redline can see your data, and you cannot see theirs.

If your company has multiple Redline users, you will all share the same workspace and see the same ECOs and action lists.
